AI for real estate. Tested in the field. We help real estate professionals understand what's changing, learn what works, and put AI to work in their businesses.
Real Estate AI Society (REAIS) publishes practical, trustworthy content about how AI is changing real estate, teaches agents how to use it, and turns the workflows that work into tools agents can use. It was founded by William Zhang, a licensed real estate agent in Austin, Texas.
Our editorial rule is simple: we test it first, we show the process, and we share what works and what doesn't. Every tool reviewed, template shared, and workflow taught has been used in a working real estate business before it is published here.
My Background
I've been building things with technology since college, where I learned to code and built a fan fiction platform for writers. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, I went into tech consulting at Deloitte, where I worked with enterprise clients on large-scale technology implementations.
From there I tried building my own product in the podcasting space. It didn't work out, but the experience of building a product from zero — handling everything from development to marketing to user research — shaped how I think about tools and workflows today. After that, I spent time as a technical product manager at an accounting SaaS startup, where I learned how to evaluate software not just as a user but as someone responsible for what gets built and why.
Now I'm a real estate agent, but I never stopped being a builder. When AI tools started getting good enough to use in a real business, I didn't wait for someone to package them into a "real estate AI product." I started integrating them directly into my practice — writing listing descriptions, qualifying leads, automating follow-up, producing video content, managing my entire marketing pipeline.
That combination — actually closing deals as a licensed agent while having the technical background to build real workflows — is what makes this site different from every other "AI for real estate" resource out there.
Why This Exists
Most "AI for real estate" content is written by marketers or tech people who've never held a license. They recommend tools they've never used on actual deals. That's a problem.
Real Estate AI Society exists to close that gap: practitioners who test the technology, explain it clearly, filter useful developments from the hype, and turn what works into systems agents can actually use.
